Doug K. I love the leather - I'm no expert on leather, but it's a nice thick piece with substantial-looking stitching. I really can't wait to see how it ages. The internal pocket and the live-edge pocket on the front are more than enough for all those little receipts and what-nots that collect over time. It holds three Field Notes notebooks comfortably which gives the whole thing a satisfying heft while still easily fitting in a pocket (unless your pants are super tight, that is!). But my favorite feature of all is the pen holder on the closure. Super happy with my purchase.
